Jeffrey M. Blackburn '91

Jeff Blackburn '91 is a member of the Board of Directors for several media and internet startups, and also serves on the Board for the Experimental Education Unit and Haring Research Center at the University of Washington. He recently stepped down as Senior Vice President of Global Media and Entertainment at Amazon.com, where he led the teams responsible for Amazon's content and entertainment businesses including Prime Video, Amazon Studios, MGM, Amazon Music, Wondery, Audible, Twitch and Amazon Games. He worked on the IPO for Amazon and helped build the company for over two decades, serving on Amazon's Senior Leadership Team since 2006.  Prior to joining Amazon in 1998, he worked at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank in Silicon Valley, as well as with Bridgewater Associates in Connecticut.
